Segolene Royal didn´t have a real possibility from the very beginning, to win this French presidential election of May 6, 2007.
Everybody knows that according to all French electoral polls, which have been done until Friday, May 4th, 2007, Nicolas Sarcozy would win the French Presidential election with 54% votes and Segolene Royal would have only 46% of the votes. Segolene Royal got 46.94% of the votes and Nicolas Sarcozy 53.06% in the French presidential election of May 6th, 2007.
The Holy Truth regarding the political battle in France during this presidential election is, that this political battle also has been a battle between God and the Evil.

The turnout was the highest for more than two decades, at about 85%.
